Mindfulness meditation is a combination of practices and techniques that encourage and develop concentration, clarity, emotional positivity and calm understanding. The goal is to cultivate awareness of the present moment.
Meditation has many benefits, including helping to increase mind-body awareness, promoting relaxation, boosting focus and clarity, and, very importantly, helping to identify and reduce stress. That’s why Ascension Care Management has created a meditation program for you that offers many ways to learn more about, and start, the practice.

This 9 part, self-guided video workshop introduces you to Mindfulness Meditation and covers different mindfulness practices. You can view it on your own schedule, and it’s paired with audio resources available for download so that you can practice your meditation on the go.
Meditation 1-on-1 sessions are available by phone with a meditation facilitator, who will support you in beginning or growing your meditation practice. Call 1 (888) 492-6811 or email us to sign up and schedule a session. Sessions are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central.
